General Recommendations for Krys' Kakes Operations Policy Guidelines

At Krys' Kakes, I am proud to be your local cottage bakery, crafting delicious breakfast pastries, whoopie pies, cakes, and cupcakes with love and care. Every treat I make is baked fresh, free of preservatives, and made to bring a smile to your face. My commitment is to provide you with exceptional service and high-quality baked goods tailored to your needs. 

Allergy and Order Information

- Allergy Notice: Customers are responsible for informing me of any known allergies when placing an order. Please note that my bakery handles common allergens such as nuts, dairy, and gluten, and cross-contamination is possible.

- Order Timeline: 

        Standard Orders: Place orders atleast 7 days in advance to ensure availability.

        Larger Orders: Require atleast 14 days notice. 

        Short-notice Orders: Accepted based on availability and may incur a rush fee. 

- Deposits & Payments: For orders over $30, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of order. Final payments are due the day before pickup. Orders placed less than 7 days prior must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

-Changes & Add-ons: Must be made 4 days in advance and may incur additional fees based on the change requested. 

Cancellations and Refunds Policy

- Customer Cancellations

If a customer cancels due to illness at least 72 hours before the pickup date, all payments except the deposit will be refunded or applied to a future order. For cancellations less than 72 hours prior, payments are non-refundable, but I may accommodate rescheduling based on availability. 

-Business Cancellations

If Krys' Kakes must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refun will be issued, or the order can be rescheduled for a new agreed-upon date.

Pickup and Third-party Policies

Pickup Arrangements: pickup hours are pre-set, and a specific date and time will be agreed upon when placing your order. Items must be picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Unclaimed items will be donated to local charities after this period. If someone else is picking up your order, please notify me in advance. The third party must sign a release form confirming the product was received in good condition. Krys' Kakesis not responsible for any damage or mishap after the exchange has occurred. 

- Freshness Guarantee

At Krys' Kakes, freshness is my promise. All baked goods are made to order and are free from preservatives, ensuring the best taste and quality. I recommend enjoying your treats within 24-48 hours of pickup for optimal flavor and texture.

To maintain freshness:

Store cakes and cupcakes in a cool, dry place, or refrigerate if specified. Breakfast pastries and whoopie pies are best consumed on the day of pickup but can be stored in airtight containers for up to 2 days. I do not freeze, save, or store any baked goods beyond the scheduled pickup date. This policy reflects our dedication to delivering products that meet the highest standards of quality.
